The Central Oklahoma QBN Chapter was organized in January 2001 to help promote the education of its members as well as educate the general public, whose concept of balloons was 3 balloons on 3 ribbon.
In 2002, 10 members studied together and took ther CBA tests and all became Certified Balloon Artists.
Now, in 2010, our members have worked together and attended outstanding seninars around the USA, and we have given 25 scholarships to our members since the inception of the COQBN. Our primary goal to educate our members is realized with each seminar we have and with each scholarship we hand out. Our members are some of the most educated in the industry, and our goal is still to educate and promote our industry.

Treva Hart......
Treva is a founding member of the C.O.Q.B.N. She attended IBAC 2003, and learned simple twisting which, when combined with classic decor and her creativity began the "deco-twisting" decor she is known for.
Treva worked with Balloon-a-Palooza and BalloonTown USA and received her certificate from the Rouseabout Graphics Seminar in 2006. She traveled to China to work with the Kim Tom Festival in 2007, was the winner of the Euro Design Contest sponsored by Qualatex and Conwin in 2008, traveling to Mol, Belgium for the Milennium Jam. She worked as staff at Float the Convention in 2009. Treva has taught at the 2009 Summer Balloon Camp and will return to teach in 2010 at Summer Balloon Camp. She will return as staff at Float the Convention in Nov. of 2010.
Her creativity is tempered with the reality of the job at hand, i.e., client budget, availability of product, etc.
